This is my Holga.
Holgas have a huge cult following and are a big part of the Lomography movement.
They are all plastic, including the lens! The images it produces are soft, dreamy and heavily vignetted. My Holga uses the original 120 roll film format, though 35mm versions are now available.
A lot of people customize their Holgas, I went to town on mine with black and yellow gaffer tape, comedy Nikon strap and Union Jack lens cap.
I loaded it with Ilford HP5 and took it to the woods.
I pushed it in processing, developing for 800 iso. Exposures with the Holga are more luck than judgement. I scanned them on the flatbed (I haven’t invested in the 120 film scanner yet) The flatbed scanning and still damp film (impatient!) add to the dreamy effect.
That’s me with the Holga taken by my girlfriend with her Canon 5D
(before the Nikon strap it had a red shoelace)

Good stuff. If you are keen on Holga, you might have a look at the website of Harvey Stein in NY. I did a course with him a while back. http://www.harveysteinphoto.com/
you do well to get good images with one of those tricksters, bruh!
